Housing

Whether rented or owned, your home is perhaps the most important possession in your life. And when things go wrong it can cause stress and worry.

Housing covers a whole host of issues. From damp and disrepair to eviction threats and rent arrears. It also includes disputes in respect of council house, Housing association or private tenancies and failure by the local authority to provide housing. It covers possession actions by mortgages and arrears in mortgage payments.

So when problems occur its important to get them resolved quickly by receiving the right advice.

Public Funding is available in certain cases involving disputes in respect of Housing related matters. The Legal Services Commission has set up a system awarding Franchises to firms of solicitors in certain areas of work if they are able to demonstrate compliance with quality assurance standard set by the Commission. Desor & Co have complied with the standard and have a Franchise in Housing.
