Desor & Co was founded in February 1995 by Kamal Desor. Neeta Desor joined him as a Partner in July 1995. From a sole practitioner firm the practice is now flourishing, with three other associates who are ably assisted by a team of good quality support staff, including a senior practice manager, two highly skilled secretaries with experience of over 15 years, a trainee solicitor, a junior secretary and a paralegal. Our Practice manager  has experience again of over 20years and undertakes all the practical aspects of financially managing the practice.

We undertake Public Funding work and have obtained the Legal Service Commissions Franchise in Civil and Consumer Contract (Civil Disputes), Personal Injury, Family and Housing. Public Funding is also available for Professional Negligence and both Partners are members of the Law Society’s Specialist Professional Negligence, Family Law, and Personal Injury Panels.

Public Funding is now no longer available for Personal Injury (accident) claims. We therefore offer what is commonly known as “no win, no fee” For more information see Costs and Funding.

We are well known in the local area. Both Partners practiced in the area for close to 12 years prior to setting up practice in 1995. We have a close association with the local courts:- Uxbridge, Brentford and Slough. The Firm is 5 minutes walk from the Uxbridge County Court and we undertake all aspects of Agency Work at that court.
